The aim of this report is to review the futures thinking landscape in New Zealand by exploring the work of past futures initiatives, the earliest of which dates back to 1936. In doing so, we document past initiatives and reflect on the lessons learnt. We also provide greater access to the existing knowledge established by these initiatives so that they can strengthen future endeavors. To this end the report provides a repository for this information; knowledge gained has been collated, recorded and protected.
